Fact:
Yes, it is true.
To
the dismay of Cain supporters, Herman Cain has officially withdrawn
from the race sending republicans scrambling for their wits. This
already shaky boat has become even shakier with Cain's withdrawal.
The why:
Why did
Cain withdraw? Well, we've all heard the allegations against the now
former republican candidate (some are still shedding tears, I'm sure).
The supposed thirteen year affair that threatened to ruin family and (I
quote) "distracted from the message he was trying to bring to the US."
I'm still not quite sure what that message truly was, but that's
alright.
The Effect:
What does this mean for the GOP candidates? Only time can tell of the true outcome of this new development.
Meanwhile, Newt Gingrich is the lead, having raised 16 points while perfect Mr. Romney has dropped seven.
However, Cain did leave us with a few choice words. According to The Telegraph:
"He said he would be endorsing another candidate later in the White House race
– not, he added, President Barack Obama."
I'm sure the surprise will be shocking. That, folks, is all for today.
Peace be with you Herman Cain, peace be with you.
